Sup Guitar Academy One to One Lessons

We offer lessons in pop, metal, rock, Classical and Acoustic Guitar. Most people learn some combination of these styles. Lessons for older children and adults are usually one hour long and given on a weekly or fortnightly basis, depending on your needs and budget. For younger children we offer 45 minute lessons at which a parent can choose to attend (if you want to learn to play guitar with your child, we will soon be giving Parent/Child Lessons). Some advanced students benefit from occasional, one-off lessons, and we also offer these.

Unlike some guitar teaching organisations, all our lessons are tailor-made to suit the type of playing that you want to do, and the songs you want to learn, and are based around bespoke printed worksheets, which we produce in advance of your lesson. We have spent many years building up a huge database of learning materials (backing tracks, sheet music, exercises, etc), which enable us to teach incredibly flexibly and not to rely on set 'courses', as some teachers do, (although we do run several syllabi) which force students to learn in rigid ways and do not make the most of the student's strengths and interests.

Here are some genuine testimonals from people we teach.

Please see Sessions and Fees section above for fees info. Depending on availability and where you are based, we do occassionally travel to certain areas, however, a charge for travel expenses will occur after a certain distance.
